Christ Died For Us
A brother in Christ told of a colleague who -for the first time ever- read the book of Mark in the Bible. Afterwards, he asked, “Jesus was so awesome - so why did they kill Him?” Great question about Jesus! “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8). The ugliness of sin and love of God - that is why Awesome-Jesus was given to be crucified. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation? (Heb 2:3).
